Question gaming addictions

Well hey everyone i just got on here to ask one simple question. but before i get to the question, i must tell you where this question came from. my g/f supports my gaming habit very much. she used to hate it but i have persuaded her into liking video games. now she supports me alot. like she has recently pre ordered me gw factions and has bought me plenty of video games for my various systems. and i gave her my x-box when i got my x-box 360 and now she is addicted. i mean she is not as addicted as me but still. and now for the question.

Does your g/f, b/f, husband, or wife, support your gaming habits, or do they just think you are crazy and they put up with it?

My girlfriend doesn't mind, she drags me to falloutboy concerts, I make her play super smash brothers with me, we call it even. I don't think anyone else besides my roommates even know I play games.

My b/f is a crazy gamer who drug me kicking and screaming to the computer to play guild wars. I always supported his gaming habits but never really wanted to play his games. Now I'm hooked on GW....

I bought GW when I was bored one day...and got hooked... when I met my bf, I introduced it to him and he well, became addicted to it. Now, he still loves it and while I love it, I get bored sometimes and wanna do something else But with Factions coming out, I'm excited again so We're both GW nuts

I was told I can not play games and have a relationship at the same time... at least that what she keeps saying....

Well I will go the the next closest people, my friends suport my gaming, it keeps me from killing the mood while they are at social outings and makes sure I stay not dead.

i dunno .. i d say, dont go for a complicated thing
that's yer hobby, the thing u like to do... just show her if she's interested in knowing what is that thing u spend countless hours on
of course that's what all gamers d love a g/f addicted just like em
the opposite is quite common though .. i know quite a good number of em, where their g/f finds it pointless and kinda ask em to choose, gaming for hours or doing useful things together ..

lotsa ppl are told that u know
i think it's kinda true especially when it comes to online gaming
(like i said above)
sometimes u can be lucky.. i got a friend who plays WoW a lot but his g/f hated when he was playing, she was so bored etc...
one day he made her trying the game..a few weeks later, they bought another comp and they play together almost every evening

It kinda annoys me when my girlfriends hovering over my shoulder watching me click the same two keys for half an hour. I especially hate it when someone sits down and watches me play GW or wow, makes it all uncomfortable.

well i suppose i can just try to get her into gw. last time i tried she said if it wasnt so hard to understand then she would probably play. i told her after a while it really isnt that hard and she didnt say anything so i suppose i am winning. it just sux that all the games she got addicted to gw isnt one of them.

My wife dislikes me playing so much but tolerates it to a point. She still complains if I play for too long. I then spend time with her and come back to the games later.
